I recently got flown out to NYC to shoot a campaign for a Japan based client. This was only my second time visiting New York but I’ve absolutely fallen in love with the city and the energy. The people seem to embrace me and new friendships stem from a simple hello or a random introduction. After shooting in a Soho studio I went back to my hotel in Brooklyn and met up with a couple of new friends. A makeup artist named Brenna and model named Dana. They both embody all of the attributes that explain why I love New York. They work hard and they party harder. Actually, it may be the other way around but all I know is the vodka started flowing, good tunes filled our ears and laughter filled the hotel room. I remember pulling out my camera at some point and snapping photos of Dana. She was telling me how much she liked my crew neck and beanie, next thing I knew the articles of clothing were on her body. Booze, it’s one hell of a drug but I would be lying if I said I didn’t have a great love affair with it. The rest of the night is sort of a blur with flashes of awesome times and signed asses. The next morning I looked through my camera and seen these rad photographs along with a few others in my camera. The girls text me and told me what a great time they had and Dana thanked me for her new outfit. Fuck, I loved that sweater!
